The Industrial Revolution. A time of change. Not just Economic change, but changes to the Wordle. In my original Wordle, I put in the factors of British power, such as seapower, colonialism, Exploration, and other things. In the New Wordle, I emphasized the ways in which the Revolution might go (Capitalism or Communism) and key concepts typical of an Industrial Revolution (Lassez Faire, factories, coal, etc.) I also included some key events, such as the Shirtwaist Fire. Interestingly, I also changed Colors and fonts, though I doubt that interests you much. The First color and font was meant portray the dawning of a new age with all the bright sun-affiliated colors, whilst the second was meant to portray the often gloomy atmoshere of the cities at the time.

The Industrial Revolution brought something new to families. Leisure time. The advent of set hour workdays caused new activities within different groups. The streets themselves became venues for entertainment and socializing. Men, married and unmarried, began to hang around saloons and bars after work, socializing with friends and others. Unmarried women began to free themselves from the restrictive confines of their homes, creating a new subculture of society.
